Hello, I'm so glad you're here.

My name is Gretchen Champoux, M.Div, LMHC and I am a Seattle-based psychotherapist specializing in C-PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, spirituality and relationship struggles. My approach is relational, depth-oriented, and trauma-informed. Social justice and equity issues are values that also guide my practice.

Garden + Soul, PLLC is the merging of my two passions: psychotherapy and gardening. I used to think these were two separate endeavors. But the more I practice as a psychotherapist and gardener, the less separate they have become in my mind and heart.  Whether I'm working with soul or soil, both feel like tending to the sacred.

In addition to being a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington, I have been trained in the pastoral counseling tradition which strives to integrate matters of faith/spirituality and psychology in a way that is holistic, inclusive, and authentic to who you are.

For some, one’s experience and expression of faith is a priceless resource in terms of offering support to one’s healing and growth. For others, it has been a source of pain and sincere suffering. I meet you where you at. I do not impose spiritual or religious values and whether you identify as spiritual and/or religious or not, all are welcome in my office.

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.
